Laura James Jewelry + Deanna Favre Hope Foundation

Known as the rock of her family, Deanna Favre, wife of Quarterback Brett Favre, was stricken in 2004 at the age of 35 with Breast Cancer. Throughout her battle, Deanna was constantly aware of the extreme costs of treatment and vowed to find a way to help those without the luxury of insurance battle the disease. Therefore, the Deanna Favre HOPE Foundation was born. To further raise awareness and funds for her philanthropy, Deanna selected Laura James, also a native Mississippian, to create the HOPE Necklace.

Laura James Jewelry + The Foundation For Tomorrow  

After spending three summers researching and working in an orphanage in northern Tanzania, North Carolina native Meghann Gundermann was filled with conviction to make a difference in the lives of these children. The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) was established and has since placed 67 African orphans in local boarding schools, ensures that these children are raised in a safe living environment, and enhances their physical, emotional and intellectual growth. Compelled to get involved upon reading about her efforts, fellow Charlottean Laura James collaborated with Meghann on a line of jewelry handcrafted by Laura James to further raise awareness of TFFT. With fifty percent of proceeds going directly to TFFT, it is their hope that this jewelry will be shared, gifted and worn by many.
